Still remember the Asimo (Honda) robot?
I'm sure you did because this inventions really shocked the world when it's launched last few years. Now, Honda got their new Asimo version and it is more hi-tech than the first one. ASIMO is now capable of performing tasks as a receptionist or information guide automatically in concert with the movement of people.
ASIMO now has the ability to recognize the surrounding environment through visual sensors, floor surface sensor, ultrasonic sensor, and by an IC Tele-interaction Communication Card, developed independently by Honda, held by the person with whom ASIMO will interact. Head-mounted eye camera and force (kinesthetic) sensor-equipped wrists allow ASIMO
to give and receive an object such as a tray in a timely manner, or even to hold the hand of a person and move in sync.
Do you know that Asimo can run at 6km/h (00:35 Dec, 2005)?
For your information, Sony's also got their own robot named Qrio --->
and the robot can run about 3 kilometres per hour. Now what I wanna tell you is there is a new robot in the robotic world that will shocked the world again but this time it is from Korea!
The robot's name is Humanoid Robot RX and another strength is that this 60-centimeter-tall machine works via software upgraded from outside network, the features our Japanese rivals do not have.

Roboraptor v/s Robosapien!!!
In my previous posting, you can see the Robosapien and it's evolution to conquer the world.
Now, we gonna see the Robosapien's "enemy". It is called Roboraptor!!
Actually, Roboraptor is one of the Robosapien's friend. They was invented just to show off and this means the "ROBOT WORLD" now is getting clear man. Robotech rules the world even this is not in the film like Star Trek and Star Wars.

" Evidence that the robotic dinosaur revolution is spreading, this Roboraptor comes fully assembled and ready to roam the earth with his robotic dinosaur cousins. He has movable arms, a swiveling head, a sweeping tail, and a chomping jaw full of pointy teeth. Measuring 32 inches from nose to tail, the Roboraptor is a big enough to intimidate any smaller predator that may come along.
See the video.
While this raptor hasn’t yet developed his full hunting skills, he’s still a lot of fun and comes with over 40 preprogrammed functions, three distinct moods, and the ability to detect things in its path with infrared vision. He also comes equipped with automatic shutoff and a demo mode. Roboraptor is steady on his feet, but works best on smooth, hard surfaces. --Heather Lyndon. "
And I've got to tell you that Roboraptor got another friend named "doggie" that is ROBOPET. (click to enlarge)

Robosapien Robot From Nasa!
I'm not lying to you...
This Robosapien Robot is designed by a robotics physicist who worked at NASA.
No computer required, all functions handled by an ergonomic remote control which runs on regular batteries for over 6 hours...!!!
Just press the black power button on its back, and it awakens with a yawn and an "Uh-huh." You control the robot using an elaborate, button-rich remote that looks as though it could run your home theater system. The Robosapien can perform more than 80 actions such as dance, burp, do a karate chop, give a high five, and listen for intruders, and its eyes light up red and blink whenever a command is received.
It’s also equipped with touch sensors, and it stops when it bumps into walls. If you ever get sick of its act, simply press the Stop button to make it quit. The robot is highly flexible, with joints that go every which way, yet very solidly constructed. Four D batteries for the robot and three AAA batteries for the remote are required. [via].

The Robosapien Robot is a full function fast moving robot minion suitable for all your world domination needs! Designed by a NASA scientists, the Robosapien is simple enough for kids and advanced enough for adults. Features include real, multi-speed fast dynamic walking, running and turning; fast, full function arms with two types of grippers; 67 pre-programmed functions including pick-up, throw, kick, sweep, dance, fart, belch, rap, and half a dozen kung-fu moves.
Robosapien speaks fluent international "caveman". Programmable "reflexes" to touch, pickup, kicks or sound; and up to 84 program steps, with 4 program modes for advanced operations. What an invention!
